Bacon Wrapped Fillet Mignon, Shrimp Alfredo over Angel Hair Pasta
4 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 teaspoon instant minced onion
4 filet mignon steaks, 1" to 1 1/2" thick
4 slices bacon
1/2 cup sweet butter 2 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups heavy cream or Half & Half 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese or Colby jack cheese
1 (12 ounce) box angel hair pasta 20-25 medium shrimp
2 pinches of garlic powder
Preheat broiler. Melt 2 tablespoons butter and add parsley and onion. Wrap bacon slice around fillets. (Use more bacon if desired.) Place fillets on broiler pan 3" to 4" from heat. Broil 5 to 7 minutes each side for rare. Broil 8 to 10 minutes each side for medium. Brush with butter mixture occasionally during cooking.
Clean and devein and rinse shrimp in a colander. Lightly season shrimp with garlic powder. In medium skillet melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Once butter is melted add shrimp. Shrimp is cooked thoroughly when color changes to pink. Remove from heat and drain.
Melt1/2 cup sweet butter in medium saucepan over medium/low heat. Add the garlic, cream, white pepper and bring mixture to a simmer.
Stir often.
Add the Parmesan cheese and simmer sauce for 8-10 minutes or until sauce has thickened and is smooth. When sauce has thickened add the Mozzarella cheese and stir until smooth. STIR FREQUENTLY. While the sauce cooks, boil noodles for 3-5 minutes.
Place pasta on serving plates and spoon sauce over pasta.
